Hundreds of Israeli occupation troops stormed a Palestinian orphanage and a boarding school in the southern West Bank City of Hebron early Thursday, looting large amounts of frozen food, dairy products, clothes, shoes, refrigerators and kitchen equipments, local officials and eyewitnesses said.

The looted material were to be used to feed and cloth as many as seven thousand orphan girls and boys, many of them attending boarding schools run by the Islamic Charitable Society.

According to neighbors, the looting operation started around midnight Wednesday when soldiers stormed the al-Harayek neighborhood in Hebron where the inventory department of the Islamic Charitable Society is located.

“They (Israeli soldiers) forced open the main gate and outer doors and then started loading everything on trucks they brought with them,” said Muhammed Awwad, an official at the Society’s Inventory Department.

“They looted millions of dollars worth of equipments and products, it is an organized robbery, except that it is carried out by the army of a state that claims to be civilized and democratic.”

Awwad said the soldiers seized hundreds of crates of frozen meet, numerous food containers as well as a huge amount of clothes, including Pajamas, underwear, sanitary material, toilet papers, shoes, sport equipment, blankets, mattresses, and handkerchiefs.

“They even looted female children underwear, They robbed us clean.”" Awwad said.

It is easy to find the house swapping sites, just Google “house swap” and you will find them.

Be careful if you try this though, because you never know who you are dealing with on the internet.

Experts say you should also get a realtor involved because there are a lot of ways to lose your house and/or a lot of money if you do not know exactly what you are doing.

Gee, wonder why people are having a hard time selling their houses anyway? It will take “a few years” to defeat the Taliban-led insurgency in Afghanistan, the top US general in the country said, reiterating US support for the fight.

Major General David Rodriguez, head of the US-led coalition force, said the US military would stay in the country “as long as they are needed.”

“We definitely think it will take a few years for the Afghan people and the Afghan leaders supported by the coalition forces to defeat them,” he said in a response to a question from a journalist.

An insurgency led by the Taliban, who were in government between 1996 and 2001, has been growing in the past two years with a spike in suicide attacks and roadside bombings.

The deadliest blast struck outside the southern city of Kandahar on Sunday, leaving more than 100 people dead. The Taliban denied involvement but officials said they were to blame.

On Monday another suicide blast — this time claimed by the Taliban — killed nearly 40 people in Kandahar province’s border town of Spin Boldak.

Deputy US ambassador Christopher Dell, who accompanied Rodriguez on a trip to meet officials in the town of Maidan Shahr, west of Kabul, said that Taliban used terror tactics because they had little support among people.

“They are simply trying to terrorise them to play with fear in order to achieve their objectives,” he said.

The coalition works alongside a larger NATO-led force and the Afghan military.

George Bush winks at indiscriminate killings, further tarring the reputation of the U.S. military.

By forcing repeat combat assignments to Iraq and Afghanistan — and by winking at torture and indiscriminate killings — George W. Bush is degrading the reputation of the U.S. military, turning enlisted soldiers and intelligence officers into murderers and sadists.

For instance, on Feb. 10 at Camp Liberty in Iraq, Army Ranger Sgt. Evan Vela was sentenced by a U.S. military court to 10 years in prison for executing an unarmed Iraqi detainee who — along with his son — had stumbled into a U.S. sniper position last year.

After letting the 17-year-old son go, Vela’s squad leader, Staff Sgt. Michael Hensley ordered Vela to use a 9-millimeter pistol to shoot the father, Genei Nesir Khudair al-Janabi, in the head, an order that Vela carried out. “It was murder, plain and simple,” military prosecutor, Major Charles Kuhfahl, told the court.

Janabi’s son, Mustafa, was allowed to make a statement, explaining how his father’s death had devastated the family and how one of his four younger brothers now avoids their home because he can’t stand the sight of his father’s empty room.

“Please don’t forget about us,” Mustafa told the court.

But Vela’s guilty verdict was a rare case of holding a U.S. soldier accountable in the killing or abusing of an Iraqi. Among the infrequent cases that have been brought, most end in acquittals or convictions only on minor charges.

Last November, for example, another military jury acquitted Hensley in the same murder of Janabi as well as in the killing of two other Iraqi men south of Baghdad in the early days of Bush’s troop “surge.” That jury ruled that Hensley was following the approved “rules of engagement,” though it did convict him of planting an AK-47 on one victim.

Some of Vela’s military comrades complained that it was unfair to single any of them out for punishment because these killings are so common in Iraq.

Vela’s former platoon commander, Sgt. First Class Steven Kipling, said that if all U.S. combat soldiers in Iraq were subjected to the same scrutiny applied to Vela, “we would have thousands” of cases. [NYT, Feb. 11, 2008]

Indeed, the evidence does suggest that the handful of homicide cases from Iraq and Afghanistan that reach military trial represent only a small fraction of the unprovoked killings of locals at the hands of U.S. soldiers.

Russian state-controlled Channel One TV has broadcast a report containing allegations that US forces are involved in drug-trafficking from Afghanistan to Europe. It also highlighted the problem of drug abuse in the British army.

The channel’s weekly news roundup “Voskresnoye Vremya” on 10 February noted that, according to the UN, the amount of opium being produced in Afghanistan has more than doubled since the coalition troops entered the country.

The report went on to show former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair visiting the country at an unspecified time. It said that he had met almost 800 British troops during the visit. “This is either a coincidence or the working of cruel fate, but this is the exact number of soldiers that the British army loses each year because of drug abuse. This is more than the total combat losses of the royal army in Iraq and Afghanistan,” the correspondent noted.

The report then featured an extract from a BBC news website story saying that the British army loses a whole battalion of troops a year because of drug abuse (Research revealed that the story was published on 14 December 2007).

The report went on to look at the wider problem of how to reverse the trend of increasing opium production in Afghanistan.

Aleksandr Mikhaylov, the head of the department of interdepartmental and informational activity at the Russian Drugs Control Agency, was shown saying that economic measures to tackle the problem are foundering on local corruption. “The local authorities draw up seriously forged lists in which an amount is recorded for the amount destroyed and, in fact, the crop has not been destroyed at all. The theft of the money to combat narcotics is going on and is flourishing,” he said.

The accusation that US forces are involved in drug-trafficking came from Geydar Dzhemal, chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia. “Without the control and connivance on the part of the special services none of these things are possible. For example in Afghanistan, the CIA and the special services are quite brazen. Under the protection of the American army they meet the necessary people. They collect the stuff, go to the Bagram airbase and they hand in a large consignment of narcotics, which is then taken away,” he said.

The report went on to say that heroin reached the Balkans via Turkey, which “has been a member of NATO since 1952 and is the USA’s closest ally in the region”. It said it is “another amazing coincidence” that Kosovo hosts the largest NATO base in Europe. The correspondent added that there is a “secret Interpol post” next to this base. “Here they speak almost openly about Afghan heroin in American planes,” he noted.

Straight talking American icon Willie Nelson today told a national radio show that he thought the twin towers were imploded like condemned Las Vegas casino buildings, as the country music superstar voiced his doubts about the official 9/11 story.

Agreeing with host Alex Jones that he questioned the official story, Nelson elaborated, “I saw those towers fall and I’ve seen an implosion in Las Vegas - there’s too much similarities between the two, and I saw a building fall that didn’t get hit by nothing,” added Nelson, referring to WTC Building 7 which collapsed in the late afternoon of September 11.

“How naive are we - what do they think we’ll go for?,” asked Nelson, pointing out that his doubts began on the very day of 9/11.

“I saw one fall and it was just so symmetrical, I said wait a minute I just saw that last week at the casino in Las Vegas and you see these implosions all the time and the next one fell and I said hell there’s another one - and they’re trying to tell me that an airplane did it and I can’t go along with that,” said Nelson.

The former Highwayman, fresh from his appearance at this past weekend’s superbowl, questioned why Afghanistan became an immediate target in the aftermath of 9/11 when the official story posited that mostly Saudi Arabians were responsible for the attack.

“When I get hit I like to look around and see who did it before I start swinging at everybody in the room and that’s kind of what we were doing,” said Nelson, “We get hit over here and then next thing you know we’re jumping on everybody in the town - so (if) we got hit from Saudi Arabia, I think we’ve got some questions that need to be answered from those folks,” said Nelson.

In light of his viewpoint, Nelson said that recent revelations concerning the impartiality of the 9/11 Commission and its close links with the White House did not surprise him.

“What does it take for us to realize we’re having the wool pulled over our eyes one more time?” he concluded.

Nelson is not the first high-profile public figure to question 9/11. In March 2006, actor Charlie Sheen voiced his doubts and was followed last year by his father Martin Sheen.

Aside from celebrities - professors, scientists and other experts the world over have questioned the inconsistencies in the official story, and the topic was most recently even a subject of serious debate in the Japanese Parliament.

Nelson’s country music contemporaries The Dixie Chicks were savaged by the establishment when they criticized the Bush administration shortly before the invasion of Iraq. It remains to be seen whether the corporate media will dare take on Nelson for his views or whether they will just try to ignore the story as happened with Martin Sheen.

A FORMER head of Pakistan’s military intelligence says Australia’s troop deployment in Afghanistan is doomed to failure and has urged the Government to withdraw its forces as quickly as possible.

Hamid Gul, the retired general who was the director-general of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate when it supported Afghan militias against the Soviet occupation of their country, believes Western troops will be forced to leave Afghanistan by the end of next year.

“There comes a time in every war when the scales start tilting,” Mr Gul said. “I think the foreign presence in Afghanistan is at a tipping point now. Even if they are able to stretch it out, next year will be the last campaign year of the occupying forces. Then they will go - they will have to go.”

Mr Gul said it was not “wise” for Australia to maintain its troop commitment. “Of course it’s very difficult to say no to America, but [Australia should] find a way out like Japan … and many others.”

More than six years after the US-led invasion, the issue of security came to a head this week when the Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, threatened to pull out Canada’s 2500 troops early next year unless NATO sent in more soldiers.

The US said it would press its European NATO allies to send more troops to Afghanistan’s violent south, but the Pentagon has said it will not commit any more of its own forces there.

The Taliban were toppled by the invasion in late 2001 but have recently made an explosive comeback, despite the presence of 50,000 foreign troops under the command of NATO and the US military, backed by 120,000 Afghan security forces.

Australia has about 1000 troops stationed mainly in the south, making it the largest non-NATO contributor. The Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, has pledged to keep Australian troops in Afghanistan.

But Mr Gul says Western forces face a determined opposition that will not give up.”As a soldier I can tell you there is no army, no matter how strong, that can prevail against a nation that decides to fight. You will never, never prevail,” he said.

Since retirement Mr Gul has been involved with Jamaat-i-Islami, a relatively moderate Islamic political party in Pakistan, and was among a group of retired army officers who last week called on the President, Pervez Musharraf, to stand down.

Mr Gul concedes that a withdrawal from Afghanistan by the US and its allies would probably hand control of much of the country to the Taliban. But he said the security situation in his own country would improve significantly if US forces were to depart Pakistan.

The Afghan Defence Minister, Abdul Rahim Wardak, has said Kabul expects its allies to help expand Afghanistan’s security forces. “The only sustainable way to secure this country in an enduring way is to enable the Afghans themselves to be able to defend this country,” he said.

Soros predicts worst recession for 50 years

Amid collapsing stock prices worldwide, the billionaire investor George Soros has told an Austrian daily, the Standard, that the United States is threatened with recession and the world is facing the worst financial crisis in half a century. “The situation is much more serious than any other financial crisis since the end of World War II,” Soros was quoted as saying.

He said over the past few years politics had been guided by some basic misunderstandings stemming from something that he called “market fundamentalism” - the belief that financial markets tended to act as a balance. “This is the wrong idea,” he said. “We really do have a serious financial crisis now.”

He added he was surprised how little it was understood that a US recession was also a threat to Europe. European shares duly fell nearly six per cent on Monday, their biggest one-day slide since 9/11.

Meanwhile in Mumbai, some market analysts are suggesting Soros shorted the Indian markets last week. Over 15 years after he shorted the British pound in September 1992 and earned one billion dollars, local market sources say one of Soros’s funds may have shorted the Nifty last week.

Market Turmoil Continues

Financial markets remained uncertain Wednesday after the U.S. Federal Reserve made its biggest rate cut in 25 years.

The move was meant to bolster jittery markets with many investors fearing the onset of recession.

However, the cut hasn’t entirely restored confidence. Billionaire investor George Soros told reporters that it was going to be difficult for the UK and US to avoid a recession, even after the Fed cut its main interest rate to 3.5% from 4.25%.

The world’s financial markets seemed to confirm Soros’s warning.

New York’s main Dow Jones index dropped 1.1%, with the technology-dominated Nasdaq sliding 2%.

The UK’s FTSE 100 index was 90.90 points, or 1.58%, lower at 5,649.20, erasing much of what is had recovered on Tuesday.

Meanwhile Germany’s Dax lost more than 4%, while France’s Cac 40 was down 2.7%.

Overall the FTSE 100 has lost about 14% of its value since the beginning of 2008, wiping £228bn off the total value of the companies listed on the index.

Germany Dax’s index has been one of the worst hit in Europe, down almost 20% this year.

Despite yesterday’s late rally on Asian and European stock markets, investors were still nervous.

“We consider the Fed’s rate cut still insufficient for the global financial markets to completely recover and help the Japanese stocks to fully rebound”, said Shinichi Ichikawa of Credit Suisse.

Moreover, many investors felt that the Fed’s sudden rate cut was a sign of panic with potentially bigger problems still to come.

“The Fed’s action provided a very positive surprise,” said Tsuyoshi Segawa, strategist at Shinko Securities in Tokyo. “But people are also starting to think that things may be so bad they needed to act.”

While many were still nervous, investors generally agreed that the European Central Bank would not follow the U.S. Federal Reserve’s rate cut, at least not immediately.

A poll taken among European investors after the U.S. Federal Reserve’s rate cut found most thought the European Central Bank will take several months before it follows the Federal Reserve’s lead.

The consensus was that the European Central Bank would cut its rate, but only in the second half of 2008.

Soros Sees End of Dollar-Backed Credit Expansion

Billionaire investor George Soros said the fallout from the U.S. subprime crisis will bring about the end of a 60-year dollar-based credit boom.

“The current crisis is not only the bust that follows the housing boom, it’s basically the end of a 60-year period of continuing credit expansion based on the dollar as the reserve currency,” Soros said in a debate today at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “Now the rest of the world is increasingly unwilling to accumulate dollars.”

Rising defaults on U.S. subprime mortgages sparked a rout in the credit markets in August, leading banks to cut money for consumer lending, hurting the U.S. economy’s main engine. The Fed yesterday lowered its benchmark rate in an emergency move for the first time since 2001 after stock markets tumbled from Hong Kong to London amid signs the world’s largest economy is sliding into recession.

“The dollar is still the most important reserve currency and will remain so,” Soros said in a later interview at his Davos hotel. “This is the end of credit expansion based on the mistaken belief of market fundamentalism, that you should let markets have total freedom.”

`Gone Too Far’

Soros made $1 billion in 1992 betting against the pound, forcing the British government to abandon a peg to a basket of European currencies. He was also the biggest financial backer of the failed effort to deny President George W. Bush a second term in office. The euro has gained 55 percent against the dollar since Bush entered the White House on Jan. 21, 2001.

“From the 1980s we had the belief in the magic of the marketplace, and the authorities were so successful that they started to believe in this market fundamentalism,” he said. “That’s gone too far.” In times of crisis, “they suspended the rules and they bailed out the banks. That created an asymmetric incentive system, a moral hazard, that allowed the expansion of credit.”

Soros has used past appearances in Davos to predict the dollar’s decline. In January 2004, he said the U.S. currency would drop for a third year. It then fell 7 percent, according to a Federal Reserve trade-weighted index of the currency.

Stephen Roach, chairman of Morgan Stanley in Asia, said in Davos that while he remains a “dollar bear,” the U.S. currency’s slide may be reversed in the first half of this year as other economies in Asia and Europe are hurt by the U.S. slowdown.

US Army Unable to Confront Iran

US soldiers are not able to stand against Iranian combatants, a senior Iranian commander said in the wake of massive propaganda by western media over an alleged confrontation between Iranian and US navy vessels in the Persian Gulf earlier this month.

Lieutenant commander of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces said that the hues and cries made by the western media about the event was aimed at portraying Iran as a threat to world peace and security on the verge of the visit to the region by US President George Bush.

He said that the prompt action, including presentation of authentic documents and footages of the incident, by Iranian officials proved the baseless and untrue nature of the US allegations, following to which “Americans were obliged to acknowledge that their reports were not true.”

General Masoud Jazayeri identified relevant reports by western media as a part of psychological warfare against the Islamic Republic, saying that the report released by the western media on the alleged confrontation between the Iranian and US navy vessels in the Strait of Hormuz was carried out in the form of a premeditated scenario.

He also said that the US has repeatedly devised and practiced such plots against the Islamic Republic, a major part of which have eventually turned into a scandal for the White House as it had been obliged to reject its earlier reports, similar to the recent Persian Gulf confrontation report.

The official reminded that the US had first used archive pictures and done forgery to convince the world people that its warships had been swarmed by Iranian boats, while it had to dismiss its allegations later.

Yet, what seems to be interesting in this story is that the US soldiers showed a feeling of fright similar to the British marines who were detained by Iran several months ago after trespassing Iranian borders, he said.

Jazayeri reminded that in the earlier case, an Iranian boat steered by a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) stopped the British boat with a large number of fully-armed British soldiers and made them surrender.

“…in that case too the British soldiers were directed towards our coasts while they felt completely hopeless and scared,” he added.

“Evidence has revealed that no American soldier or military personnel is able to stand against Iranian combatants,” Jazayeri reiterated.

January 14, 2008 – Twenty-five former U.S. military officers have severely criticized the official account of 9/11 and called for a new investigation. They include former commander of U.S. Army Intelligence, Major General Albert Stubblebine, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Col. Ronald D. Ray, two former staff members of the Director of the National Security Agency; Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, PhD, and Major John M. Newman, PhD, and many others. “A lot of these pieces of information, taken together, prove that the official story, the official conspiracy theory of 9/11 is a bunch of hogwash. It’s impossible,” said Lt. Col. Bowman served as Director of Advanced Space Programs Development under Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter.

“There’s a second group of facts having to do with the cover up,” continued Col. Bowman. “Taken together these things prove that high levels of our government don’t want us to know what happened and who’s responsible. Who gained from 9/11? Who covered up crucial information about 9/11? And who put out the patently false stories about 9/11 in the first place? When you take those three things together, I think the case is pretty clear that it’s highly placed individuals in the administration with all roads passing through Dick Cheney.”

Regarding the failure of NORAD to intercept the four hijacked planes on 9/11, Col. Bowman said, “I’m an old interceptor pilot. I know the drill. I’ve done it. I know how long it takes. I know the rules. … Critics of the government story on 9/11 have said: ‘Well, they knew about this, and they did nothing’. That’s not true. If our government had done nothing that day and let normal procedure be followed, those planes, wherever they were, would have been intercepted, the Twin Towers would still be standing and thousands of dead Americans would still be alive.” [2]

Playing around with the Persians can be risky - especially when the endgame nears. US President George W Bush is learning this civilizational truth. He could have learned from the Jimmy Carter administration.

The similarity is striking. A beleaguered White House increasingly looks irrelevant while the alienated country keenly searches for an idea of leadership that can offer a clean break with the past. That was also how the Carter administration looked 30 years ago.

What can a superpower do if someone “threatens” it? The Pentagon warned on Monday that five small Iranian speedboats “threatened” a powerful US fleet comprising one frigate, a destroyer and a cruiser in the Strait of Hormuz by coming within 500 meters of them. It warned of “provocative actions that could lead to a dangerous incident in the future”. Tehran calmly shrugged it off, “That is something normal that takes place every now and then for each party, and it is settled after identification of the two parties.”

Surely, the US can attack Iran in retribution. That is always the prerogative of a superpower in a unipolar world. That will also be fully in accord with the Bush administration’s doctrine of pre-emptive war. The influential Israeli lobby in Washington would even ensure a bipartisan consensus, despite the divisiveness and acrimony in US politics in an election year.

Russian missiles for Iran

But there is a rider. A war against Iran may not be an option for long. Moscow has begun hinting that Russia’s S-300 missiles are being dispatched to Iran. There is much constructive ambiguity over the subject in both Moscow and Tehran, which leaves Washington nervous and guessing. The medium-range S-300 surface-to-air missiles, together with the short-range Tor-M1 systems supplied by Moscow to Tehran earlier, would help counter any attempt by the Bush administration to bully Iran. To quote the Russian daily Izvestiya, “Iran will be Moscow’s trump card in its drive against the third stage of US missile defenses in Poland and the Czech Republic.”

President Vladimir Putin’s “asymmetrical response” could drill a hole right through Bush’s Middle Eastern policy bucket. The Tor-M1 is equally effective against aircraft, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, but it is a close-battle weapon, the last defense line that engages or eliminates targets that may get through the S-300s. That is to say, Tor-M1 plus S-300 would for the first time provide Iran a credible modern multi-echelon air defense system covering any key strategic facility.

What does it add up to? The Bush administration is beginning to grasp that it has no option but to negotiate with Iran. But a new danger is that negotiations with Iran, too, may soon become a non-option. Persians generally don’t talk with people who are inconsequential. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said last week that at the moment, relations with the US are of “no benefit to the Iranian nation. The day such relations are of benefit, I will be the first one to approve of that.” He seems to be anticipating the post-Bush era.

US policy disintegrating

These geopolitical realities cannot be overlooked. Bush was due to set out from Washington on Wednesday on his Middle East tour - Israel, Palestine, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia and Egypt - virtually with empty hands. The gamble looks desperate, even for a congenital gambler. Distrust of US regional policy in the Persian Gulf region has extended even to Kuwait, which hosts about 15,000 US troops and which served as the launch pad for the Iraq invasion in 2003. Bush has two objectives in his Middle East mission - weigh in on the faltering post-Annapolis Palestinian-Israeli peace process of last November and seek support for US concerns about Iran.

It’s common knowledge, he reveals, CIA, Mossad behind terror attacks

Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga, who revealed the existence of Operation Gladio, has told Italy’s oldest and most widely read newspaper that the 9-11 terrorist attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad, and that this was common knowledge among global intelligence agencies.

In what translates awkwardly into English, Cossiga told the newspaper Corriere della Sera:

“All the [intelligence services] of America and Europe…know well that the disastrous attack has been planned and realized from the Mossad, with the aid of the Zionist world in order to put under accusation the Arabic countries and in order to induce the western powers to take part … in Iraq [and] Afghanistan.”

Cossiga was elected president of the Italian Senate in July 1983 before winning a landslide election to become president of the country in 1985, and he remained until 1992.

Cossiga’s tendency to be outspoken upset the Italian political establishment, and he was forced to resign after revealing the existence of, and his part in setting up, Operation Gladio. This was a rogue intelligence network under NATO auspices that carried out bombings across Europe in the 1960s, 1970s and ’80s. Gladio’s specialty was to carry out what they termed “false flag” operations—terror attacks that were blamed on their domestic and geopolitical opposition.

In March 2001, Gladio agent Vincenzo Vinciguerra stated, in sworn testimony, “You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force … the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security.”

Cossiga first expressed his doubts about 9-11 in 2001, and is quoted by 9-11 researcherWebster Tarpley saying “The mastermind of the attack must have been a sophisticated mind, provided with ample means not only to recruit fanatic kamikazes, but also highly specialized personnel. “I add one thing: it could not be accomplished without infiltrations in the radar and flight security personnel.”

Coming from a widely respected former head of state, Cossiga’s assertion that the 9-11 attacks were an inside job and that this is common knowledge among global intelligence agencies is illuminating. It is one more eye-opening confirmation that has not been mentioned by America’s propaganda machine in print or on TV. Nevertheless, because of his experience and status in the world, Cossiga cannot be discounted as a crackpot.

After an IED attack killed five members of 2nd Platoon Charlie 1-26 in northeast Baghdad, members of the unit gathered and determined that they could no longer function professionally. Several soldiers feared that their anger and want for revenge would result in a massacre of innocent civilians, and thus decided to stage a revolt against the orders of their commanders.

Charlie 1-26 was the hardest hit unit in Iraq so far, losing 14 soldiers in 12 months. Kelly Kennedy of the Army Times, who was embedded with Charlie Company, recalled the hostility the unit had towards Iraqis living under US occupation:

When the IED, the roadside bomb, went off, it was so close to one of the Iraqi police stations that they should have been able to see somebody burying that. It was right in front of somebody’s house, and nobody said anything. Nobody said to these guys, “Listen, there’s a bomb here. We’re worried about you,” even though they had been going out and patrolling and doing what they were supposed to be doing, in their minds. So when that IED went off and killed their five friends, they’re in–you have to understand, they’ve been living together for a year like brothers in the basement of this old palace. And it’s–they’re right on top of each other and going out and taking care of each other on the battlefield, daily firefights. And so, they’re closer probably than anyone could be. And when they lost their five men, they–I think they gave up on the Iraqi people.

If the Iraqi people weren’t willing to fight for them, then what was the point? And they were so angry. They just wanted to go out and take out the whole city. They didn’t understand why they couldn’t finish up what they call the war, and the whole idea of counterinsurgency is that you’re supposed to be building relationships, but they’re trying to build relationships with people who obviously aren’t that concerned about them. So this idea of a massacre was just–they were just so angry, they could barely contain it anymore.

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran has hanged three men and a woman, a newspaper reported on Thursday, in the latest of a series of executions that have drawn criticism from rights groups and European states.

Two of the men and the woman had been convicted of murder, while the third man was executed for rape.

Murder, rape, adultery, and drug trafficking are among crimes punishable by death under Iran’s Islamic sharia law, imposed since the 1979 revolution.

“The four convicted people, including a woman, were hanged on Wednesday morning inside the Evin prison in Tehran,” said the state-run newspaper, Iran.

It said that Ghasem Yaghoubi had kidnapped and raped 19 young boys in a year.

Amnesty International has protested to Iran over the number of executions, which according to its report in April had doubled to at least 177 people in 2006.

The number of executions, many in public, has risen since July with the launch of a summer crackdown on “immoral behaviour”. During the campaign, police have arrested dozens of drug addicts, smugglers, rapists and murderers.

The crackdown has also included an initiative to confront women who fail to adhere to Iran’s strict Islamic dress codes.

Before the latest series of hangings that began in July, Amnesty said at least 124 people had been put to death in 2007. Based on those figures, Iran has now executed more than 150 people so far this year. Continued…

Ex-CIA official: Israel will attack Iran on its own

“I came back from a trip to Israel in November convinced that Israel would attack Iran,” Bruce Riedel, a former CIA official and senior adviser to three US presidents, George W. Bush among them, told the American Newsweek magazine in an article published Friday.

Citing conversations he had in Israel with officials in Mossad and the Israeli defense establishment, Riedel concluded that “Israel is not going to allow its nuclear monopoly to be threatened.”

While some US experts doubt Israel’s ability to tackle Iran alone, David Albright, of the Institute for Science and International Security in Washington, was quoted by Newsweek as saying that although information on the exact location of Iran’s nuclear facility is incomplete, Israel’s air strike on an alleged Syrian nuclear facility on September 6, widely discussed in foreign media outlets, could be seen as a test run for any future strike on Iran’s facilities, as well as a direct warning to Teheran.

Riedel told the magazine his impression that Israel would venture a strike on Iran on its own was formed before the publication of the joint US intelligence agencies’ report, the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE). “This [the NIE] makes it [a strike on Iran] even more likely,” he said.

Since the publication of the NIE, which reversed a previous American assessment by concluding that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003, leaders worldwide have been adjusting their publicly stated positions on the Iranian nuclear issue.

Even inside the US, President Bush attempted some damage control by stating a day after the report’s publication that “Iran was dangerous, Iran is dangerous and Iran will be dangerous.”

In Israel, responses to the report ranged from subtle criticism of the report’s conclusions to outright slamming of the US intelligence community’s capabilities, so much so that on last Sunday’s cabinet meeting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert instructed his ministers to refrain from commenting any further on the report.

MOSCOW: Russia’s top military officer on Saturday accused the United States of seeking direct confrontation with Moscow and warned again that U.S. plans to deploy missile defenses in Europe would destabilize the continent.

Gen. Yuri Baluyevsky spoke at a joint news conference along with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak, who repeated that Russia would not increase troop levels on its western border even after suspending participation in a key arms treaty.

Among the issues that have most undermined Russian-U.S. relations in recent years is a U.S. plan to put elements of a missile defense system in Poland and the Czech Republic — former Warsaw Bloc members that have joined NATO.

Russia has alleged that the system will be used to spy on Russian missile and military forces; Washington says it will help defend Europe from a potential missile attack from Iran.

Baluyevsky said the U.S. missile defense plans would destabilize Europe and he repeated sharp warnings that Russia would respond in some fashion.

“We plan and, depending on the situation, will take appropriate and asymmetric measures aimed at preventing the deterioration of our defense capability,” Baluyevsky was quoted as saying by Interfax. There was no explanation of what he meant by asymmetric.

Baluyevsky, the chief of Russia’s general staff, said U.S. Defense Department policies continued to challenge Moscow openly.

“The question of confrontation with Russia, mildly speaking, including direct confrontation, unfortunately has not been struck from the agenda by my colleagues at the Pentagon,” he told reporters. He did not elaborate.

On Wednesday, Moscow formally suspended participation in the Conventional Forces in Europe treaty, which limits the deployment of tanks, aircraft and other heavy weapons across the continent.

Officials have said the moratorium was not a threat, but rather an effort to persuade NATO nations to ratify a 1999 update of the pact.

Kislyak repeated that Russia did not intend to increase its force levels on the western border despite the moratorium.

Iran said Tuesday it has manufactured a new missile with a range of 2,000 kilometers (1,200 miles) capable of reaching Israel and U.S. bases in the Mideast, the official news agency IRNA reported.

Iran’s Defense Minister Gen. Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said the Ashoura missile was produced by factories affiliated with the ministry, according to IRNA. He did not say whether Iran has test fired the missile or has plans to do so.

Ashoura means “the tenth day” in Farsi, a sacred reference among Shiite Muslims to the martyrdom of the third imam.

Analysts believe much of Iran’s military production has benefited from assistance from Russia, China and other countries, but many of their weapons development claims have not been independently verified.

Iran launched an arms development program during its war with Iraq to compensate for a U.S. weapons embargo. Since 1992, Iran has reportedly produced its own jets, torpedoes, radar-avoiding missiles, tanks and armored personnel carriers.

Recent weapons development has been motivated by Iran’s standoff with the U.S. over its controversial nuclear program, which Washington claims is a cover for weapons development — a charge Tehran denies.

Iran is known to possess a medium-range ballistic missile known as the Shahab-3, which means “shooting star” in Farsi, with a range of at least 1,300 kilometers (800 miles). In 2005, Iranian officials said they had improved the range of the Shahab-3 to 2,000 kilometers (1,200 miles), equal to the new missile announced Tuesday.

Najjar did not elaborate about the differences between the Ashoura missile and the Shahab-3 missile.

In September during a military parade, Iran introduced the Ghadr missile, which has a range of 1,800 kilometers (1,119 miles).

Experts also believe Iran is developing the Shahab-4 missile, thought to have a range between 2,000 and 3,000 kilometers (1,200-1,900 miles), that would enable it to hit much of Europe.

Iranian mini-submarine for Persian Gulf targets

DEBKAfile’s military sources report the Iranian Navy is in the process of deploying two submarine fleets – mini-subs in Persian Gulf waters for attacks on US shipping and Gulf oil facilities, and the long-range Kilo class sub of Russian, Chinese and home manufacture, for long-range targets in the Mediterranean, such as the US Sixth Fleet and Israel coastal towns, primarily Tel Aviv.

Iran’s defense minister Mostafa Najiar announced Tuesday, Nov. 27, that a new Iranian-built submarine would be delivered to the navy Wednesday. He offered no details of the new item. However, two days earlier, Iran’s navy chief. Adm. Habibollah Sayyari disclosed that the new submarine would operate in Persian Gulf waters in the Strait of Hormuz area. He also declared that Tehran has no intention of blocking the Strait in a flare-up with the US military.

DEBKAfile’s military sources note that Iran’s strategic thinking has undergone a change. Hitherto, the rulers of Tehran viewed the blockage of the narrow waterway to shipping that carries one-third of the world’s oil needs, as its most effective reprisal for a military attack. They have revised their thinking for two reasons: First, Iran has made great strides in expanding its influence in Gulf oil states and an assault on their sole source of revenue would win more enemies than friends.

Second, as DEBKA-Net-Weekly 326 revealed Nov. 16, Tehran has developed a new capability to deploy in the Mediterranean Kilo class submarines armed with the Russian-made “Sizzler” Klub-S (3M54) missile. This missile can be shot from underwater at a range of 300 kilometers and has a powerful 450-kilogram warhead. It is launched from the submarine’s 533mm (21 inch) torpedo tubes.

This possibility was outlined by an authoritative Iranian security figure, the spokesman-cum-commentator at Iran’s defense ministry, Gen. Reza Naghdi, on Nov. 12. He said that if Iran were attacked, its navy – and its submarine fleet in particular – could come close enough to “reach an Israeli coastal target” from the sea.

Iran’s submarine fleet consists of 6 Kilo class craft, of which only three or four are serviceable. Another 12 submarines of the same class are on order from China, but there is no information that any of them has entered service or even been delivered.

Western naval experts say that Iran will need to keep all of its three or four operational subs close at hand, in case of an American attack.

The Iranian navy has none to spare for other arenas, unless a strategic decision is taken in Tehran to send a sub or two to the Mediterranean to hit American or Israeli naval shipping or the Israeli coast, even at the expense of its Gulf resources.

The Revolutionary Guards Corps is known to have built a large fleet of mini-subs and special marine units equipped with fast boats for deployment in the Persian Gulf. They might partly free up the larger Kilo subs for this option.

It may be recalled that Iran’s first intervention in the Israel-Hizballah war in South Lebanon last year was by sea. On July 14, 2006, Iranian naval officers helped Hizballah shoot a shore-to-ship C-802 missile from a Lebanese army base, crippling the Israeli Hanit missile ship. The incident is still considered the most damaging suffered by Israel in that war.

A month later, Iran began experimenting with firing the Sizzler missiles from its Kilo-class submarines.

The Kilo class submarine’s displacement is up to 4,000 tons submerged. It is 74 meters long, has a maximum speed of up to 30 knots surfaced, diving depth of 300 meters and range of more than 12,100 km. The Kilo carries a crew of 52 sailors and, depending on the type, is armed with six to eight 533 mm torpedo tubes, 24 mines and air defense missiles. The Kilo submarines’ quiet engines enable them to appear and disappear like wraiths, winning them the name of Black Hole from the US Navy.

HOW RAPIDLY WILL ISRAEL DISINTEGRATE?

No one is openly talking of it, and certainly there is no discussion of it in the United States. The Jewish-owned and controlled American media and academic establishment would never countenance any intelligent discussion of it – for obvious reasons. Even in Israel itself, there is probably not much discussion of it, and this would probably be due to the fear that an open and free discussion would generate even more momentum – and panic.

Yet, there is a growing realization around the world – though not in the United States – that we are living in quite extraordinary times, that an upheaval of epic proportions is under way, or nearly under way. Israel is actually in the beginning stages of disintegration; the sinister ideology of Zionism is, after half a century, at last collapsing.

The recent news from Israel that 27 reservist pilots in the Israeli air force are refusing to carry out military operations against Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza does provide incontrovertible evidence of the increasing speed of Israel’s disintegration. Israel’s military commanders and political leaders are naturally reacting to the growing disaffection in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) with predictable fury and defiance. They warn that they will deal harshly with these so-called “conscientious objectors in uniform.”

There seems to be a strange – and quite powerful – synergism developing between the Israeli government, the American government, and post-war Iraq. It would appear that the Jewish people have now understood that they will be compelled to establish full-blown dictatorship in three states – America, Israel, and even Iraq. They are beginning to understand that this will be their first requirement if they are to stave off the dangerous developments in the Middle East. Their power in all three is dissolving, and the only way they will be able to hold on to what they now have – and enjoy – is to use extreme measures, and extreme force.

American Jews have plunged the United States into a risky and expensive war in the heart of the Middle East, and of course they wage this military campaign not with young Jewish soldiers but with poor and lower-class American men. The Jews in America and Israel clearly wish to rule the world – at least this is the goal for which they are striving.

And, so far the senior officers of the US armed forces have allowed themselves to become instruments of Jewish megalomania and criminality. But, it does seem logical to assume that an awakening in the senior levels of the US military and a similar awakening of Israeli Jews to the folly of Zionism – the disintegration of Israel – just might establish some kind of relationship. Synergy is a fascinating phenomenon. Events in the United States, Israel, and Iraq may indeed develop and unfold together; and the synergy of the three – and their growing and their growing and deepening connections – may prove to be irresistible.

Vanity Fair’s `Top 100′ seems to confirm age-old `canards’ about `Jewish power’

If you think that the United States is run by a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) elite, think again. The reality is very much otherwise, according to an old-line American magazine that did, indeed, once rank as a voice of the so-called “WASP” establishment.

Vanity Fair—the stylish monthly now owned by the billionaire Zionist Newhouse family—has just published its annual list of the 100 most powerful people in America, what Vanity Fair calls “the New Establishment.”

What this amazing list reveals is a reality that many will find hard to accept: America’s “New Establishment” is overwhelmingly dominated by Jewish figures or those who are on the payroll of or dependent upon Jewish families and financial interests that bankroll the powerful Israeli lobby in America. That conclusion—however “offensive” or “controversial” in the eyes of some people—is inescapable.

Based on Vanity Fair’s listing from the position of 1-100, persons known to be Jewish occupy 53% of the power positions. However, there are actually 106 names on the list (with two names listed side by side in five places) and with the additional names (four of the six being Jewish), there are 57 individuals known to be Jewish listed.

So depending upon how one calculates, either 53% (or 54% including all those listed) of the most powerful members of “the New Establishment”—as perceived by Vanity Fair—are Jewish.And it should be noted that Vanity Fair’s assessment of who constitutes “the New Establishment” is one that critics would be hard-pressed to dispute.

The fact that a Jewish-owned publication has published the names of these Jewish power brokers (without specifically citing their ethnic and religious heritage) is interesting, especially since Israel’s prestigious newspaper, The Jerusalem Post, on Oct. 11, 2007, heralded publication of the list, saying in a headline that “Jewish power dominates [at the] Vanity Fair [list]. The reporter for the Post, Nathan Burstein, noted:

It’s a list of “the world’s most powerful people,” 100 of the bankers and media moguls, publishers and image makers who shape the lives of billions. It’s an exclusive, insular club, one whose influence stretches around the globe but is concentrated strategically in the highest corridors of power. More than half its members, at least by one count, are Jewish.

It’s a list, in other words, that would have made earlier generations of Jews jump out of their skins, calling attention, as it does, to their disproportionate influence in finance and the media.

Making matters worse, in the eyes of many, would no doubt be the identity of the group behind the list—not a pack of fringe anti-Semites but one of the most mainstream, glamorous publications on the newsstands. The list would seem to conform to all the traditional stereotypes about areas of Jewish overrepresentation.

Although the “mainstream” media in the United States has failed to note the Jewish predominance on the list— which can correctly be called predominance, since Jewish people are said to be less than even 3% of the American population—the news about the list has been commented upon in American Jewish community publications.

Joseph Aaron, editor of The Chicago Jewish News said that his readers should “feel very, very good about” the news that their co-religionists are so powerful in America. In the Vanity Fair list, which is reproduced here and annotated with factual details regarding those names on the list, AFP has indicated the Jewish names in boldface, although it is possible that there are other Jewish names on the list, but there is no firm research available confirming it. Also, note, for example, that media baron Rupert Murdoch— who appears at number one on the list—is not included here as being Jewish, for the reason that reports that his mother was Jewish have never been fully confirmed, although it has long been an article of faith on the Internet—perhaps in error—that Murdoch is Jewish).

Whatever his ethnic antecedents, Murdoch has been a front-line supporter of Israel and the global Zionist cause—no surprise considering the fact that his primary financial backers in his rise to power were the powerful Rothschild, Bronfman and Oppenheimer families—all very definitely Jewish. Since the release of the list, several Internet sources have alleged that several other names on the list (that are not indicated here as being Jewish) are Jewish; however, AFP’s research does not indicate that this is so. The bottom line is that the preponderance of the names are indisputably Jewish, whether the disputed names are or are not.

Also significant is that the roughly 45-50% of the names on the list that are not definitely known to be Jewish or that are clearly non-Jewish are the names of individuals who are directly beholden to Jewish families and financial interests for their own power and privilege. Rupert Murdoch is perhaps the most prominent among this group.

Secondly, in this realm, is Warren Buffett—listed at No. 6. Buffet is not Jewish, but he has long been in partnership with the Rothschild family and is a primary of the powerful Washington Post-Newsweek media combine.

Although the Post is best known as the fiefdom of the American-based Jewish Meyer-Graham family, the evidence indicates that primary behind-the-scenes investors behind the influential Post empire have always operated in the sphere of Rothschild-connected banking interests operating on American soil. The Meyer/ Grahams, themselves, are related to the powerful San Francisco-based billionaire Jewish heirs of the Levi Strauss clothing kingdom.

Seventeen of those listed are either actors, entertainers and television and news media personalities who—while now wealthy as a consequence of their fame—owe their fame (and wealth) to the patronage of the owners of the mass media which made these 17 figures household names: for example, individuals such as Fox News agitator Bill O’Reilly and Steven Colbert, among others.

Three listed—Pinault, listed at 29, and Gagosian and Pigosi—listed at 84 and 86—are figures in the art world, which is known to be dominated by Jewish interests.

Eight others, such as Bernard Arnault (listed at 8), Giorgio Armani (listed at 37), Miuccia Prada (at 44), Karl Lagerfeld (at 52), Martha Stewart (at 54), Oscar de la Renta (at 53) Diego Della Valle (at 63) and Donatella Versace (at 81) are figures in the fashion and perfume industries—both of which are totally dependent on garment manufacturing (dominated almost exclusively by Jewish families and financial interests) and on department store distribution and the advertising industry, both of which are likewise dominated by the same elements.

Two of those listed—Bill Clinton and his former vice president Al Gore—are only politicians—note the clarification “only”—both of whom were installed in their positions of power through the patronage of Zionist financial interests. For his own part, Gore’s daughter, Karenna, has married the great-great grandson of Jewish plutocrat Jacob Schiff, a satellite of the powerful Rothschild family. Informed students of history know that Schiff was instrumental in financing the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia.

Several others are officers of media giants dominated by Jewish financial interests, acting as well-paid “fronts” for the controllers behind the scenes. For example, Richard Parsons, an African-American, is listed at 18th place, but he is no more than a front man at Time-Warner.

And as those who know the history of Time-Warner are well aware, that media empire has been dominated since at least the late 1960s, of elements linked to the organized crime syndicate of Jewish gangster, Meyer Lansky (who worked closely with Israel’s Mossad) and to the Lansky-connected liquor empire of Sam Bronfman, longtime chief of the World Jewish Congress (WJC), and his son, Edgar Bronfman, who recently retired as head of the WJC.

It has been widely asserted that the idea that Jewish families and financial interests were very powerful was “an old wives’s tale,” a “ridiculous anti-Semitic canard with no basis in reality,” said to be the product of a “discredited czarist forgery.” However, the new Vanity Fair assessment suggests otherwise and seems to confirm the theme of this author’s work, The New Jerusalem, which had already documented in detail what Vanity Fair has now confirmed: “Zionist power in America.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday warned that Moscow would not remain indifferent to NATO’s “muscle-flexing” and said Russia’s nuclear forces would be ready for an adequate response to any aggressor.

Putin, speaking to top generals less than two weeks before December 2 parliamentary elections, said the NATO military alliance had built up its forces close to Russia’s borders.

“We see that military resources of certain states and members of the NATO alliance are being built up right by our borders and in contravention of previously reached agreements,” Putin said in remarks shown on state television.

“We cannot allow ourselves to remain indifferent to the obvious ‘muscle-flexing’,” Putin said.

He said strategic nuclear forces - which control Russia’s long-range nuclear missiles - should be ready “to deliver a swift and adequate response to any aggressor”.

NATO is viewed with great suspicion in Russia, where Kremlin officials say expansion eastwards into the Baltic states and Central Europe shows the alliance is being used by the United States to threaten Russian interests.

Putin said Russia’s suspension of the Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty, a key arms treaty limiting forces in Europe, was one way to counter NATO’s “muscle-flexing”.

“We are not going to fulfil anything unilaterally - our partners did not ratify the treaty and some did not even sign it,” Putin said, adding sarcastically: “It was a nice affair.”

Russian generals say the issue of flank limits, which restrict Moscow’s ability to deploy heavy armor on parts of its own territory, must be solved if Russia is to return to the treaty.

Russian proposals to set up a single missile defense system under joint control have not had an answer from the West, Putin said.

He praised the military potential of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), a regional grouping of Russia, China and four Central Asian states which held joint military exercises in August in Chebarkul in the Urals.

“The growing defense potential of the SCO was shown in practice at the Chebarkul range,” Putin said.

At the August exercises, Putin said security threats had forced Russia to resume regular airborne bomber patrols across the world, bringing back memories of the Cold War.

Putin has been keen to show off his close ties with the military, visiting a nuclear submarine, flying a bomber and calling for better wages for soldiers.

A little-known and privately-held aircraft leasing company created by the Israeli military intelligence is connected to the Mossad-run airport security and passenger screening company at the center of the “false flag” terror network of 9-11.

SOLVING 9-11

I am not like those who claimed to be 9-11 researchers, but who now say they have “moved beyond 9/11.” How can anyone abandon the pursuit of the truth about 9-11 before the crime has been solved?

Six years after the terrorist attacks in which some 3,000 innocent people died, not one victim’s lawsuit has yet gone to trial. As a nation, Americans can not allow 9-11 to go unsolved.

How can we forget the hundreds of people who were roasted alive in the burning twin towers? How can we ignore the death and destruction that we, as a result, have wrongfully inflicted on the innocent people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Palestine?

Who can accept an unelected administration dragging our military from one illegal war to another in the utterly fraudulent “war on terror,” which they have promised will last for generations?

Vice-President Dick Cheney has said that the US must be prepared to fight the war on terror for decades.

If we, as Americans and citizens of the world, don’t demand the truth of 9-11, who and what do we really stand for? Everything this administration has done for the past 6 years has been based on an unproven interpretation of the events of 9-11.

What does it mean to be a citizen of “the land of the free and the home of the brave” if we allow our minds and our nation to be so easily hijacked by a pack of lies construed by a foreign power that terrorizes our citizens and extorts our government officials?

During the past few months, I have redoubled my efforts to solve 9-11. As the cover-up becomes more obvious and the guilty parties reveal themselves, this is the time to pile on the pressure, not give up.

ZIONIST ZEITGEIST

I cannot abide mass murder, occupation, and genocidal wars of aggression. Nor can I accept the corruption of our values and destruction of our basic American rights to suit an artificially imposed “war on terror.”

With the passage of time, it is now clear that 9-11 was carried out in order to kick-start the perverse Zionist Zeitgeist called the “war on terror” with its pre-planned wars of aggression and occupation.

In December 2001, veteran German intelligence professionals told me that 9-11 had been executed by a state-sponsored criminal network and had required years of planning.

Eckehardt Werthebach, the former president of Germany’s domestic intelligence service, Verfassungsschutz, told me in 2001 that “the deathly precision” and “the magnitude of planning” of the 9-11 attacks would have required “years of planning.”

Such a sophisticated operation, Werthebach said, would require the “fixed frame” of a state intelligence organization, something not found in a “loose group” like the one allegedly led by Mohammed Atta while he studied in Hamburg.

If Werthebach’s analysis is correct, and I have every reason to believe it is, the official version is nothing but a pack of lies. This would mean that the members of the criminal network are still in the highest positions of power in the U.S., Israel, and other nations.

The members of this network are dedicated to preventing the evidence from being released because the evidence would expose the real perpetrators. This is the only logical reason why the 9-11 evidence has been confiscated, the investigation controlled, and the litigation and discovery processes obstructed.

At this point, it should be clear that 9-11 will never be solved by the federal government, the appointed investigators or law enforcement agencies, or the corrupt courts. These controlled agencies, like the Zionist-controlled media, are only interested in controlling the information and preventing the evidence from coming out.

This crime will only be solved by concerned and dedicated independent researchers.

THE ZIONIST STRATEGY

9-11 was a very sophisticated operation, as Werthebach said, which required the “fixed frame” of a state intelligence organization. It was carefully planned years in advance and carried out for one strategic purpose: to kick-start the Zionist-planned “war on terror.”

The rabid Neo-Con Zionists who have dominated the Bush administrations pushed the “war on terror” with its criminal wars of aggression, occupation, and Balkanization in the Middle East as the strategic response to 9-11. The Zionist media moguls, who dominate the U.S. mass media, have in turn pushed the “war on terror” into the public mind as the suitable and proper response to the attacks, which they have refused to investigate.

An Israeli official named Oded Yinon revealed the Zionist strategy to Balkanize the entire Middle East into ethnic mini-states in the early 1980s. The plan for a global “war on terror” to accomplish this goal has been articulated since the mid-1980s ad nauseam by Benjamin Netanyahu, the former Israeli prime minister of the extreme right-wing Likud party. The Israeli military’s plans to realize these strategic goals have obviously been in the works for at least three decades.

THE HOAX OF 9-11

9-11 is, in fact, a gigantic hoax on the world. Only by exposing the terrorist masterminds behind 9-11 will we reveal the criminals behind the fraudulent “war on terror” and epidemic of “false flag” terrorism that plagues the world.

False flag terrorism is a crime of terrorism designed by the architects to be blamed on their enemy. The media outlets, which the criminals control, facilitate the blame game by repeating the chorus from the script and stifling any independent investigation or analysis of the crime.

9-11, after all, remains an unsolved crime. It is, however, quite obvious who is responsible for blocking discovery and obstructing justice for the victims and their relatives. At every critical point where the events and circumstances of 9-11 should have been investigated and discussed, there has been a Zionist, a dedicated devotee of the State of Israel, occupying the key position and acting as the controller and censor of evidence - the gatekeeper of information.

I have seen this pattern in earlier cover-ups. The same pattern was used with the sinking of Estonia in the Baltic Sea (1994) and the U.S. government’s (NTSB) investigation of the downing of TWA Flight 800, two of the most egregious examples of government cover-ups in modern times.

NTSB Director of Aviation Safety Bernard Loeb summarized the TWA 800 investigation: “We cannot be certain that this, in fact, occurred, but of all the ignition scenarios we considered, this scenario is the most likely.”

In each case, the three critical phases of the cover-up: investigation and access to evidence, media interpretation of the event, and related litigation, were all tightly controlled to prevent any meaningful discovery of what had really caused the disaster.

The people who are preventing the discovery of the facts in such cases are actually complicit in covering-up crimes of mass murder.

Logically, there can be no reason for dedicated Zionists to obstruct the investigation of 9-11 other than to conceal the evidence of Israeli and Zionist involvement in the crimes.

The FBI, for example, under the command of the Israeli dual-national Michael Chertoff, is responsible for the confiscation of the crucial evidence from 9-11, evidence which has been withheld for more than 6 years. This evidence includes video tapes of the Pentagon attack and physical pieces from the different aircraft involved.

Michael Chertoff, Asst. Attorney General responsible for the non-investigation of 9-11, is now in charge of the Dept. of Homeland Security, where he continues to control access to the 9-11 evidence through the Soviet-style Sensitive Security Information (SSI) Program.

This evidence is critical to prove what happened and which aircraft were involved in the attacks - but the FBI has refused to release this evidence. Neither President George W. Bush nor the U.S. Congress has demanded that they do so.

The appointed federal judges Alvin K. Hellerstein and Michael B. Mukasey, and the former assistant attorney general Michael Chertoff, who now heads Homeland Security, have not worked for 6 years to hide the critical evidence and block discovery in order to protect fanatical Arab Muslims or conspiratorial Jesuits. The efforts of these dedicated Zionists have been exerted to protect Israel, the foreign state to which they are wholeheartedly devoted.

U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein controls all the 9-11 litigation and has effectively prevented discovery and blocked any of the cases from going to trial.

The 9-11 cover-up is now full-blown and their role in it obvious. The players who are involved in obstructing justice are known. At this point, patriotic Americans must not abandon the pursuit of the truth. For those who died on 9-11 and in its aftermath, for our nation and our posterity, we are obliged to find those who are responsible for the crimes and cover-up of 9-11.

THE EVIDENCE OF ISRAELI INVOLVEMENT

I have pursued the leads of Israeli involvement simply because the evidence indicates that the Israeli military and intelligence had prior knowledge of 9-11, which indicates involvement.

The five jubilant Israeli Mossad agents who were caught celebrating and filming themselves in front of the destruction of the World Trade Center and their subsequent public statements indicate that the Mossad had prior knowledge.

Three of the five Israeli agents appeared on Israeli television in November 2001 and admitted that their purpose had been to document the 9-11 attacks.

The text message warnings of the attacks sent over the Mossad-controlled Odigo instant messaging system several hours prior to the attacks are further evidence of Israeli prior knowledge.

Furthermore, the Israelis have a long history of committing “false flag” terror attacks, particularly against American targets. The Israeli attack on the USS Liberty in 1967 and the Israeli terrorist bombings of U.S. and British civilian targets in Egypt during the 1954 Lavon Affair are the first that come to mind.

The Israeli military intentionally attacked the USS Liberty in June 1967, killing 34 and wounding 171.

“The [Israeli] ground control station ordered the aircraft to attack and sink the target and ensure they left no survivors,” Steve Forslund, a former USAF intelligence analyst recently told the Chicago Tribune.

If the evidence indicated that Saudis, Pakistanis, or even Jesuits were behind the attacks, I would investigate them. The evidence, however, points to Israelis being involved - so I look there.

There has been no independent investigation of 9-11 done by the controlled media other than Carl Cameron’s now deeply buried four-part series on FOX News in December 2001. Think about this for a minute. The mass media in the land of the “free press” has not done any independent investigation about the crime of the century.

The evidence of Israeli involvement in 9-11 is too obvious so senior editors in the controlled media don’t let their journalists even approach the subject. The journalists of the “free press” in the United States are, unfortunately, confined to the same “Auschwitz of the Mind” as the American public they write for. They know very well that to touch the subject of Israeli involvement in 9-11 would be like touching a live wire.

Likewise, when it comes to tracking the Israeli criminal network that has operated in the United States for decades, the U.S. media is simply a dog that won’t bark - or hunt.

The extent of Zionist control over the U.S. mass media, including the Internet, is astounding. The mass media has effectively prevented most Americans from understanding who is really behind the false flag terror attacks of 9-11, and, by extension, the illegal and genocidal wars in Afghanistan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq.

Zionist Jews established their media empire in the United States in the early 1900s and have been able to control how Americans think for generations.

The controlled media has left Americans with an extremely distorted view of the Middle East, Zionism, and the history of the Zionist state, Israel.

Israel is a nation which was founded by terrorists, ruthless men with histories of committing genocidal crimes and false flag terror attacks. Israel was created in 1948 in Palestine on land that had been “ethnically cleansed” of its indigenous Christian and Muslim inhabitants.

Ariel Sharon, the former prime minister who is reportedly being kept in a controlled coma, is also a prime example of an Israeli terrorist. Sharon came to power in early 2001, about the same time as Bush, some eight months before 9-11.

The Bush administration has moved a step closer to military conflict with Iran, imposing punitive measures on its Revolutionary Guard Corps and calling the al-Quds unit of the guards a terrorist organisation.

Vladimir Putin immediately called the new US sanctions the work of a ” madman with a razor blade in his hand”. The Russian President said: “Why worsen the situation by threatening sanctions and bring it to a dead end?”

The Guards’ chief, General Mohammad Ali Jafari, said: “Today, enemy has concentrated sharp point of its attacks on the Guards. As always, the corps is ready to defend the ideals of the revolution more than ever before.”

The sanctions are the toughest measures against Tehran since the siege of the US embassy 1979 under the presidency of Jimmy Carter. The US has never before in its history taken such measures against the armed forces of an independent government.

US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, announced the new measures, saying they were meant “to confront the threatening behaviour of the Iranians”.

The US was forced to act alone, however, with Britain only offering rhetorical support for unilateral action outside the United Nations Security Council. A plan to have gradually tightening UN sanctions is foundering following opposition from Russia and China.

The European Union remains deeply divided on the way forward with Germany opposed to more sanctions at this stage. It has a huge economic stake in Iran with which it had exports worth $5.7bn (£2.8bn) last year.

There was sharp criticism in the US as well. The foreign affairs commentator Anthony Cordesman said: “The Bush Administration has already done immense damage to US credibility throughout the region and much of the world. The administration … is viewed as threatening to drag the Gulf into another war – this time with Iran, as failing to consult and explain, and as indifferent to the views of its friends and allies.”

The Bush administration is making its strongest bid yet to brand Iran as a rogue regime already on a war footing, and causing trouble in Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan as well as the Palestinian territories with a military-controlled bureaucracy that is spreading terrorism and acquiring weapons of mass destruction.

But critics say it is once again distorting the facts as it prepares US and international public opinion for military strikes on Iran, either by US forces or by Israel.

Tehran would retaliate with its own strike, providing the US with an excuse to attack military targets and nuclear facilities in Iran.

This information was leaked by an official close to the vice president. Cheney himself hasn’t denied engaging in such war games. For years, in fact, he’s been open about his opinion that an attack on Iran, a member of US President George W. Bush’s “Axis of Evil,” is inevitable.

Given these not-too-secret designs, Democrats and Republicans alike have wondered what to make of the still mysterious Israeli bombing run in Syria on Sept. 6. Was it part of an existing war plan? A test run, perhaps? For days after the attack, one question dominated conversation at Washington receptions: How great is the risk of war, really?

Grandiose Plans, East and West

In the September strike, Israeli bombers were likely targeting a nuclear reactor under construction, parts of which are alleged to have come from North Korea. It is possible that key secretaries in the Bush cabinet even tried to stop Israel. To this day, the administration has neither confirmed nor commented on the attack.

Nevertheless, in Washington, Israel’s strike against Syria has revived the specter of war with Iran. For the neoconservatives it could represent a glimmer of hope that the grandiose dream of a democratic Middle East has not yet been buried in the ashes of Iraq. But for realists in the corridors of the State Department and the Pentagon, military action against Iran is a nightmare they have sought to avert by asking a simple question: “What then?”

The Israeli strike, or something like it, could easily mark the beginning of the “World War III,” which President Bush warned against last week. With his usual apocalyptic rhetoric, he said Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad could lead the region to a new world war if his nation builds a nuclear bomb.

Conditions do look ripe for disaster. Iran continues to acquire and develop the fundamental prerequisites for a nuclear weapon. The mullah regime receives support — at least moral support, if not technology — from a newly strengthened Russia, which these days reaches for every chance to provoke the United States. President Vladimir Putin’s own (self-described) “grandiose plan” to restore Russia’s armed forces includes a nuclear buildup. The war in Iraq continues to drag on without an end in sight or even an opportunity for US troops to withdraw in a way that doesn’t smack of retreat. In Afghanistan, NATO troops are struggling to prevent a return of the Taliban and al-Qaida terrorists. The Palestinian conflict could still reignite on any front.

In Washington, Bush has 15 months left in office. He may have few successes to show for himself, but he’s already thinking of his legacy. Bush says he wants diplomacy to settle the nuclear dispute with Tehran, and hopes international pressure will finally convince Ahmadinejad to come to his senses. Nevertheless, the way pressure has been building in Washington, preparations for war could be underway.

In late September, the US Senate voted to declare the 125,000-man Iranian Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization. High-ranking US generals have accused Iran of waging a “proxy war” against the United States through its support of Shiite militias in Iraq. And strategists at the Pentagon, apparently at Cheney’s request, have developed detailed plans for an attack against Tehran.

German parties blast Bush remarks

German politicians slam the US President’s recent remarks on Iran, saying they illustrate the war-mongering policies of the White House.

“Such comments hinder the efforts aimed to find a diplomatic and peaceful solution for Iran’s nuclear activities,” said Ruprecht polenz, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the lower house of Germany’s Parliament, in a reference to George W. Bush’s recent remarks.

Polenz, who is a member of the ruling Christian Democratic Union, added Thursday that the warmongering comments have been presented in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s trip to Iran.

Germany’s Social Democratic Party also issued a statement on Thursday, describing the US president’s remarks as ‘irresponsible’. A spokesperson for the Party also described US go-to-war rhetoric as detrimental to the measures taken to resolve the issue peacefully.

Another German political party, The Left, said, “By issuing such remarks, Bush seeks to gain more support to pursue his hawkish policies against Iran.”

In a press conference held on Wednesday, Bush said Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons would lead to World War III. He didn’t provide any evidence for his claims.

“I’ve told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing the Iranians from gaining the means to make nuclear weapons,” he said.

Tehran insists that its nuclear program is solely aimed at peaceful purposes. The IAEA has declared that there is no evidence to prove Iran is developing nuclear weaponry.

Crazy Bush Bush ups go-to-war rhetoric on Iran.

Turkish military has fired artillery shells into the northern Iraq border region with no reports of casualties, Kurd officials said.

“At 6 a.m. (0300 GMT) they shelled about 11 areas along the borders. There were no casualties,” the Kurdish official in Iraq told Reuters.

Kurdish rebels killed at least 16 Turkish soldiers and wounded 11 others in an ambush near the Iraqi border, Turkish security sources said earlier on Sunday.

However, it was not immediately clear whether the shelling and the attack were linked.

Although Turkish shelling of the border area is not unusual, tension has been growing since Turkey’s parliament authorized troops to conduct cross-border incursions into northern Iraq to hunt down rebels using the region as a base.

Turkish PM to hold ‘crisis talks’

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he would convene crisis talks with top military and government officials.

The talks will take place at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT) Sunday, and will focus on the latest Kurdish rebel attacks which killed at least 15 soldiers near the Iraqi border, Reuters reported.

“We will reach a decision after those talks on what kind of steps to take next,” Erdogan said in televised remarks.

His government is under heavy domestic pressure to send troops into northern Iraq to crush rebels who use the region as a base from which to attack targets inside Turkey.

A number of famous Americans have called on the Joint Chiefs of Staff and all the US military personnel to refuse orders to attack Iran.

The American figures, including authors, rabbis, senators, vocalists, composers and dozens of other prominent Americans signed a letter on Oct. 2 expressing their views.

In the letter, they called on the military staff not to attack Iran because any US attack on Iran would be illegal.

“We, the citizens of the United States, respectfully urge you, men and women of our military to refuse any order to preemptively attack Iran, a nation that represents no threat to the United States. To attack Iran, a sovereign nation of 70-million people, would be a crime of the highest magnitude,” they added in the letter.

They also said, “We make this plea, also aware that you have no easy options. If you obey an illegal order to participate in an aggressive attack on Iran, you could potentially be charged with war crimes. If you heed our call and disobey an illegal order you could be falsely charged with crimes including treason. You could be falsely court martialed. You could be imprisoned.”

They noted that the American leaders often say that military force should be a last resort, begging the military personnel to make that policy a reality.

Iran warned on Saturday it would fire off 11 000 rockets at enemy bases within the space of a minute if the United States launched military action against the Islamic republic.

“In the first minute of an invasion by the enemy, 11 000 rockets and cannons would be fired at enemy bases,” said a brigadier general in the elite Revolutionary Guards, Mahmoud Chaharbaghi.

“This volume and speed of firing would continue,” added Chaharbaghi, who is commander of artillery and missiles of the Guards’ ground forces, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.

The United States has never ruled out attacking Iran to end its defiance over the controversial Iranian nuclear programme, which the US alleges is aimed at making nuclear weapons but Iran insists is entirely peaceful.

Iran has for its part vowed never to initiate an attack but has also warned of a crushing response to any act of aggression against its soil.

“If a war breaks out in the future, it will not last long because we will rub their noses in the dirt,” said Chaharbaghi.

“Now the enemy should ask themselves how many of their people they are ready to have sacrificed for their stupidity in attacking Iran,” he said.

Iranian officials have repeatedly warned the military would target the bases of US forces operating in neighbouring Iraq and Afghanistan in the event of any attack and already has these sites under close surveillance.

Chaharbaghi said that the Guards would soon receive “rockets with a range of 250 kilometres (155 miles)” whereas the current range of its rockets is 150 kilometres (91 miles).

“We have identified our targets and with a close surveillance of targets, we can respond to the enemy’s stupidity immediately,” Chaharbaghi added.

He said that the Guards’ weapons were spread out throughout the country and so would not be affected by any isolated US strikes against military facilities.

The Guards are Iran’s elite ideological army and responsible for its most significant weapons such as the longer range Shahab-3 missile which has Israel and US bases in the Middle East within its range.

“There have been many deliberately leaked stories about an attack on Iran but this time, it looks like it will go ahead.

Why now?

Both Bush and Cheney see that they are losing control, both personally and ideologically. They see the feared Putin making friendly with Iran and warning us not to attack. They see China and Iran, both perceived by Bush and Cheney as our enemies, doing more and more business with Iraq. And yesterday, at a televised press conference, Bush was attacked by reporters on camera. The reporter for the once-supportive Washington Times said, right out in front of the cameras, that Bush was now viewed as trivial. Bush stammered, glared and then responded that he was not.

During this conference, he was very angry and spiteful towards the assembled press and tossed hints that if the Russians and Iranians didn’t knuckle under, World War III was certainly coming. Many have seen this PR fiasco so it is not a great revelation.

Back at the White House, the staff knows that Putin’s growing involvement in international politics, in addition to his control of huge amounts of badly needed oil and gas has Bush, Cheney and their NeoCon controllers in a real and very dangerous rage. Putin has, and is continuing, to bait Bush and the insecure Bush is now being treated with contempt, his approval ratings heading rapidly to single digits. And what will happen? From the pinnacle of earthly grandeur, Bush sees himself being relegated to oblivio , and worse, in public.

People like Bush are incapable of accepting error so they always must have someone to blame for their own failings. Putin is now the focus of this self-hating lust for revenge, not the relatively harmless president of Iran. When Bush speaks in public about World War III, it is becoming very well believed here that he meant just that and threw that line off as a warning.

What do they plan to do, Bush and crazy Cheney?

Right now, they are thinking about attacking Russia!

Another possibility would be to assassinate Putin and yet a third, is to join with a growingly terrified Israel and attack Iran.

Connections at the Pentagon have said the same thing recently. They went along with Bush’s bluffing and leaks of imminent attacks on Iran but now, they tell me, it looks as if Bush actually wants to attack Russia!

This is pure nut stuff, considering that Putin is far more of a man and far tougher than Bush and, not to forget, Russia has a formidable arsenal of atomic weaponry and the ability to deliver it when and where needed.

The revival of the Cold War, such a pet project of the crazy VP is not the fault of Putin or the Russians but solely the child of Cheney who has his emotional and historical roots in the long-gone Cold War. Given the contempt with which both of these miserable creatures are viewed by their own military planners, massive leaks are certainly going to be forthcoming and if it looks if this deadly duo is going ahead, the military leaders will simply either resign en masse or send troops to the White House and take both of them away in handcuffs to be put on trial.

Maybe Bush’s head will pop off when then hang him.
